Saturday, November 21

Live Music: Tara Mills & Jimmy Stelling (formerly of the Hacksaw Boys): 1 PM – 3:30 PM

King Family Vineyards: 2015 Sneak Peek Barrel Tastings, from 10 AM – 1 PM and from 2 – 5 PM
Spend some time getting up close and personal with Keswick Vineyards 2015 vintage with Winemaker Stephen Barnard as you get to experience a barrel tasting of this very promising vintage!

Come taste these exceptional wines, such as our Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Chardonnay and Viognier as they develop and mature in the barrel. There will be 8 sessions,  Saturday, November 28th, and Sunday, November 29th. You will also have the opportunity to purchase “futures” of these wines at a discount during the barrel tastings!

Space is limited at each session to ensure you have plenty of time to talk with Stephen, so please RSVP by phone at (434) 244-3341 x 105 or email to tastingroom@keswickvineyards.com to reserve your spot today! The cost is $30 per person ($20 for Wine Club Members) and must be paid at the time of reservation. Cancellations must be made 48 hours before the event in order to receive a refund.

Friday, November 27

Starr Hill: Give Back Friday, 12 – 8 PM
Thanksgiving is truly about being grateful for community and giving back to those in need. Avoid the mall madness and join us for pint specials, Morsel Compass food truck, and some great live music from blues-folk artist Laura Meyer. $1 for every pint sold is donated to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank as part of our Cheers for Charity initiative.

DuCard Vineyards: Black Friday Party, 11 AM – 6 PM

Bold Rock Hard Cider: Be Thankful 5K, 9 AM
Registration is now open for the inaugural Be Thankful 5K at our Nellysford Cider Barn benefiting the Nelson County Community Fund. Join us on Friday, November 27 to give thanks and work down that Thanksgiving waistline. All paying participants to receive a commemorative performance shirt. The Cider Barn will be open early following the race to deliver cider salvation to thirsty race participants and their families.

Ages 6-17: $15
Ages 18-64: $25
Ages 65+: $20
Ages 5 & Under: Free with paying adult (no shirt included)

Saturday, November 28

Early Mountain Vineyards: Annual Deck the Halls event! 11 AM – 5 PM

Due to popular demand, this event will be held Saturday and Sunday, Nov​ember 28​th​ ​and​ 29​th​ from 11am-​5pm. The two days will be packed with entertainment and activities for adults and kids. Holiday music will be provided on Saturday by​Two Wishes and on Sunday by​ the Olivarez Trio.​

Guests can peruse wares from a wide variety of local artists and artisans with a selection of unique holiday gifts.

Santa will be ​at the event from 12pm​-​3pm each day in Santa’s ​V​illage where ​all “nice” children can take holiday photos and decorate Christmas cookies. Horse-drawn carriage rides will be just outside Santa’s Village and will be $10 for adults (and will include a glass of mulled wine) and $5 for kids (and will include a hot chocolate). Beverages can be enjoyed while waiting for the carriage. Carriage rides will run from 12pm-3pm each day.

The tasting room will be serving our delicious menu as well as mulled wine and​ locally sourced Wolf Creek Farm beef chili. Early Mountain wines will be available by the glass and bottle for purchase as well. Keep an eye on our website for event updates.​

Bold Rock Hard Cider: Breakfast with Santa, 9 AM – 5 PM
Join Carter Mountain Orchard and Bold Rock Hard Cider in welcoming Kris Kringle himself! Bring the entire family for a morning of photos and fun with Santa from 10 AM – 2 PM and give an early gift to yourself at our Bold Rock Cellar – cold hard cider and hot mulled cider! You can also knock out your holiday shopping early with a variety of stocking stuffers for that special Bold Rocker in your life.
