Mark your calendars for Virginia Cider Week November 13-22. Events include the following:

Saturday November 14

12 PM – 4 PM @ Monticello Museum Shop: Albemarle Ciderworks tasting.


Sunday November 15

4 PM – 7 PM @ Adventure Farm: Hill and Holler Food Truck Takeover.
Food Truck Takeover featuring three acclaimed chefs taking over local food trucks with their own culinary creations, accompanying cider and cidermakers from four Virginia Cideries. This event will benefit the Urban Agricultural Collective of Charlottesville. Chefs include Tucker Yoder, formerly of the Clifton Inn teaming up with Phillip Gerringer of South Fork Food Truck, Chefs Caleb Shriver & Phillip Perrow of Stroops and Dutch & Company collaborating with William Conti of Spiked Food Truck, and Chef Curtis Shaver of Hamilton’s paired with Chris Bullard of Blue Ridge Pizza Co. Charley Matheson of Adventure Farm will also serve his famous chili made with beef raised on the property. Live Music by Ben Hernandez and Andy Thacker of Love Canon and Gallatin Canyon.

Cideries include: Blue Bee, Albemarle Ciderworks, Potter’s Craft, Foggy Ridge, and more.

Ticket price is $65 and includes cider and food pairings.


Wednesday November 18

6 PM – 8 PM @ Beer Run: Albemarle Ciderworks tasting.

6 PM @ Fifth Season Gardening in Charlottesville: Home Cidermakers Workshop
Join cidermakers Tim Edmond from Potter’s Craft Cider and Chuck Shelton of Albemarle Ciderworks to discuss the art and science of cidermaking at Fifth Season Gardening in Charlottesville. Home cidermaking supplies available from Fifth Season, and juice available for purchase at event.


Saturday November 21

11 AM – 8 PM @ Bold Rock Hard Cider: Master Cider Maker Led Tours

1 PM – 3:30 PM @ Bold Rock Hard Cider: Live music by Tara Mills & Jimmy Stelling (formerly of the Hacksaw Boys)


Sunday 11/22 : 11 AM – 6 PM

11 AM – 8 PM @ Bold Rock Hard Cider: Master Cider Maker Led Tours

1 PM – 3:30 PM @ Bold Rock Hard Cider: live music by Erin Lunsford (Erin & The Wildfire)
