In preparation for the holidays, Gayot.com set out to find the best sparkling wines in the United States. They state, “Although most American wineries are not allowed by law to dub their bubbly as Champagne, most of our bottles are just as good as those made in the French region called Champagne.” In their findings, Trump Winery’s 2008 Blanc de Noir was named Top Ten American sparkling wines. Gayot.com: “The 2008 SP Blanc de Noir is made entirely from Pinot Noir. It offers rich flavors of honey, toffee and caramel and a creamy mouthfeel.” Price: $35.
